Finalists

Hi ExoClock Community !
I am a master’s student in fine arts in Paris. I major in photography. Most of the time I do street photos. I also love sciences and I try to link both subjects. Taking pictures of the moon, making exoplanets illustrations experimenting with old school photographic processes allow me to create in more rigorous ways than artists usually do, but still less than scientists! I designed this logo with specific shapes and colors reminding Ariel’s one. Fun fact : the orange part looks like a person hugging the rest of the logo. I hope you will enjoy the logo as much as I enjoyed working on it!
Best,
Léa

Hi, my name is Claudio Lopresti.
I am an Italian observer of ExoClock. I have already posted numerous transit measures on the site. I am also a professional designer, I have worked in comics for Italian publishing houses. Since 2005 I have been involved in research on exoplanets. In 2007 I discovered, with amateur equipment, the transit of HD-17156 b (planet that since 2019 the IAU has named Mulchatna) (link). In 2014 I discovered the temporal anomalies of Wasp-57 b (link) and many variable stars. Now I am coordinator of the National Research Section "Extra-Solar Planets" of the UAI in Italy.

Hello, I'm Laura.
I am very excited to be involved in the Exoclock project. I have recently bought a new telescope and camera and look forward to undertaking observations when the sky clears! I am passionate about exoplanets and have presented talks at the UK Exoplanet meetings in 2018 and 2019, mainly focusing on the possibility of non silicate exoplanets, such as 55 Cancri e and the mineralogy of terrestrial planets. I have contributed to the NASA Habitable worlds online conference and am submitting extracts to other virtual conferences this year. The ExoClock project is truly innovative and a valuable asset to the Ariel mission.
Many thanks,
Laura
